The beaches Marina, Covelong and Elliot are individually spectacular. The popular pristine beach in Tamil Nadu is the Elliot beach. It has tranquil surround and is also calm, which means the beach is ideal for swimming, walking or relaxing. Chennai’s best known beach is the marina beach, which is 12 km in length. This beach is also been one of the largest beach all over the world that is located to the north of the Elliot beach. The highly regarded beach on ‘Coromandel Coast’ of India is the Covelong Beach. Around 40 km in the south of Chennai is covered by cafes and shops.
